The Mean Green EVO 74 is the most powerful and capable electric zero turn mower in the Mean Green's lineup — and a serious game-changer for commercial mowing across New Zealand.
From its massive 74” fabricated Vortex cutting deck and tough aircraft grade aluminium chassis and deck, to its 22kWh lithium battery and high torque electric motors, the EVO 74 delivers all-day runtime, incredible power, and zero emissions with extremely low running costs.
Advanced Operator Platform
The EVO features a comfortable suspension seat, foot-operated SmartDeck™ lift system, and intuitive lever controls. With extremely quiet operation, ultra smooth acceleration, and no engine noise or vibration, operators can mow longer with less fatigue — especially important for full day mowing shifts.
Full Electric Drive
The EVO’s powerful electric drive system delivers instant torque and speeds of up to 21 km/h — fast enough to cover up to 12 hectares per day. The Impulse Drive System (IDS™), with heavy duty planetary gear drives, is built to handle continuous use in the toughest mowing conditions.
22kWh Lithium Battery
A high capacity 22kWh lithium battery powers the EVO74 for up to 8 hours on a single charge. Charge overnight using a standard 15A or 20A connection, and you’re ready to mow the next day — with no fuel, no oil, and virtually no maintenance. An optional solar canopy provides additional trickle charging during daylight operation.
74" Mulching Rear Discharge Deck
The commercial 74” mulching rear discharge deck is extremely heavy duty, fully fabricated and includes counter rotating blades for optimal airflow and clippings distribution. This mulching system is perfect for contractors working in sensitive areas like schools or sports fields where a clean finish matters, and side discharge is unsuitable.
The patented Vortex design improves cut quality, reduces clumping, and handles thick NZ grass with ease — even in damp or heavy spring growth.
Built In Lighting
The EVO comes with a full LED lighting package and touch button control panel, including indicators and work lights — perfect for low light starts or roadside jobs where visibility and compliance are important.
20 Degree Slope Rated
Thanks to its patented battery placement and low slung design, the EVO 74 offers exceptional slope stability — rated for up to 20° on side slopes. Combined with optional Michelin Tweels, it provides sure footed grip and eliminates puncture downtime for operators working on uneven or hilly NZ terrain.
